SESPI Africa (Private) Limited · Harare, Zimbabwe
Policies, Terms & Privacy
One page, in plain language, covering the three questions that matter: what we promise, what you agree to, and what happens to your data. Where the law has a say, we name the law.
Our Name, and the Promise Inside It
ThatFiscal is a product of SESPI Africa (Private) Limited. The name carries our standard — “only one, we are the best” — and this page is where that standard is written down as obligations rather than advertising: statutory numbers computed correctly, fiscal documents that verify, and straight answers when something goes wrong.
Terms of Service
Your use of ThatFiscal is governed by the End User Agreement between SESPI Africa (Private) Limited and your business, available from your client portal — generated with your business named as a party, and executable electronically or by wet-ink signature, whichever suits your governance. In short form: you are responsible for the accuracy of what you capture; we are responsible for computing, transmitting and preserving it faithfully; fiscalised documents are statutory records and are never silently altered by either of us; fees are those on your Billing screen, including any rate SESPI has agreed with you specifically; and either side ends the relationship with notice, after which your data remains exportable for the retention period below.
Privacy & Data Protection
We operate under Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07]. What we hold: your business identity (name, TIN, VAT number, contacts), the users you create, and the fiscal and bookkeeping records you capture — invoices, expenses, bank lines, tax evidence. Why we hold it: to fiscalise your documents with ZIMRA, to run your books, and because tax law requires the records to exist. Fiscalised records are retained for six years in line with Zimbabwean tax record requirements; that retention is a legal duty and survives account closure. We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to ZIMRA as fiscalisation requires, to processors under contract who host and deliver the service, and where the law compels us.
Your rights: access to your data, correction of what is wrong, export of what is yours, and deletion of what the law does not oblige us to keep. Security, concretely: encryption in transit, per-tenant isolation enforced on every query, role-based access inside your own team, request rate-limiting, audit logs on the actions that matter, and evidence files (certificates, Bills of Entry) stored per-tenant and served only to their owner. Write to privacy@sespi.africa and a person answers.
Governing Law
These terms and this policy are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction. If a clause fails, the rest stands. Last updated 30 August 2026 — material changes are announced on your portal dashboard before they take effect.
